Aaron Korsh is the author of the American legal drama television series Suits. It is based in a fictional New York City law firm and centers on Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout and non-law school graduate who uses his eidetic memory to persuade Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) to hire him as an associate. Although Torres, Adams, and Markle all left the show, it was renewed for an eighth season on January 30, 2018, and Katherine Heigl was added to the cast as Samantha Wheeler.
Alex Williams and Katrina Bennett, who appeared frequently, were elevated to series regulars. Suits received many nominations over the course of its run, with Torres and Adams receiving separate nods. In addition to receiving two nominations for her work as a supporting actress, Torres won the 2013 NHMC Impact Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Television Series.
